Andy Pilgrim & Team Remington-Cadillac, Mobil 1 posts another podium finish.

Salt Lake City, Utah (May 18, 2008) – Andy Pilgrim of Boca Raton, Fla. Driving the # 8 Remington Shaving & Grooming Cadillac CTS-V – posted his 3rd straight podium, finishing 3rd at Miller Motorsports Park.

Watkins Glen Andy’s impressive finish started with a 3rd row-6th place qualifying position. “It was a ridiculous start,” Andy stated. “That was the best start I have ever had in a Cadillac. Eric [Curran] stalled in front of me, and I think this is the 4th or 5th time someone has stalled in front of me at the start of the race. You have to react quickly. I was fortunate to get by Eric & Cindy [Lux} at the start. I didn’t want to get stupid on the first lap so I settled for stupid on the second lap, were I locked up the front tires big time. I was worried the whole race about the tires combined with a pretty bumpy ride as my consolation. We’re very happy to bring home 3rd place.”

Michael McCann and his # 16 Remington Shaving Cadillac CTS-V also gained several positions at the start with Tony Gables & Eric Curran jamming up the field.

“It’s was turn right, then left, then right past stalled cars. It was a great start for both Andy and I” Michael stated.

By mid race Michael McCann had moved his way up to 8th position before settling for a 10th place finish as tires started to loss there grip late in the race with air temperatures exceeding 95 degrees.

“I am happy with our finish after how are weekend started. the team had some late nights this week after a competitor punted us off the track in practice Thursday. With heavy damage to the vehicle, I have to give a big a BIG Thanks to our team for putting a great vehicle together for me after all of that”

Michael when asked how hot was it in the cars. “To Hot, my water bottle was boiling in there.” Some one then said, but it’s a dry heat Michael? “So is an oven! We are blessed to have 2 top ten finishes under those conditions.”
